Meet the Institutions Investing in the Future of HPE Scholarship

Geoff Stetson · July 25, 2026 · 2 min read

Back in January, we opened enrollment for our founding cohort of institutional members, offering discounted pricing to the groups who stepped up during our first six months of working toward becoming a sustainable platform. Thanks to them, we are meaningfully closer. That special enrollment window has now officially closed, and we could not be prouder of the institutions that joined us.

Our founding institutional members, in alphabetical order:

  • The Center for Learning and Innovation in Medical Education (CLIME) at the University of Washington School of Medicine
  • The Center for Medical Education Research and Scholarship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine
  • The Internal Medicine training programs of Northwell Health
  • The Macy Faculty Scholars Program of the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation
  • The Ohio State University College of Medicine
  • The Patricia A. Tietjen, MD Teaching Academy (PATMDTA) of Northwell Health
  • The Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University

Together, these groups have secured nearly 300 Institutional plans for their faculty, trainees, and scholars. Add in the nearly 50 individuals who have purchased Pro plans, and in just six months, roughly 350 members of our community have gained full access to everything MedEdMentor offers: our HPE-specific literature search, our AI-powered Theory Suggester, and Uni, our AI mentor.

When Greg and I realized that the mission and sustainability of MedEdMentor required us to start charging for premium features, we had no idea what to expect. We have been blown away by the enthusiasm, support, and belief in what we are building. To our institutional members and the more than 4,600 registered users across 120+ countries: words cannot begin to express how grateful we are to each and every one of you.

If you want the same tools your colleagues at these institutions are already using, head to our pricing page to buy a Pro plan. And if you would like to bring MedEdMentor to your entire program, department, or institution, you can find details on our pricing page or reach out to me directly at geoffstetson@mededmentor.org. I would love to talk.

From both of us, we cannot thank you enough for being part of this journey. We are just getting started!

Geoff and Greg
